Though audiences around the world know him as David DaVinci, Inland Northwest audiences might be more familiar with the name David Womach.

Womach, born and raised in Spokane, began his career as a magician and illusionist young, performing his first show in fifth grade. In high school, he had regular gigs at area restaurants and Silverwood Theme Park.

While still in high school, he won the Pacific Rim Professional Stage Championship.

Since then, Womach has headlined five Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey productions, performed on Princess and Norwegian Cruise lines around the world.

In fact, his collection of tricks and thrills, plus a menagerie of exotic birds, has taken him to more than 50 countries on six continents.

On Oct. 16, he’ll return to where it all began, headlining the Bing Crosby Theater for a hometown performance.
