Where is the sympathy?

Now he has gone too far in his insensitivity! After saying he would give emergency funds to several California counties, President Trump then threatened to cut funds to those affected by the severe wildfire outbreak. The reason … he says it’s because of “gross mismanagement.” So if they don’t fix what her perceives as poor management immediately, no aid.

An entire town – home to 27,000 persons – has been destroyed, and at least 29 lives lost mainly due to severely high winds which very quickly spread the wildfire, not due to poor land management. And all the president can do is criticize them. Where is the sympathy? Where is the concern for 27,000 newly homeless people and their livelihoods? That is truly “sad,” very sad indeed.
