Winterwoods Tea Co. is launching another Kickstarter campaign.

This is the third Kickstarter campaign for the Colbert-based business which specializes in hand-blended teas. Money raised from this round will go toward promoting the tea company’s new Gather & Hygge Winter collection.

This marks the first time since 2016 that Winterwoods is introducing new tea blends. There are five new flavors in all.

Autumn Gold features apple, rose hips, turmeric and hibiscus. Juniper Summit includes lemon, pomegranate, calendula and juniper berries. Nordic Morning is made up of pu’erh black tea and almond. Cascade Cherry features cherry, green tea and rose petals. Tamarack Merry features calendula, black tea and pine needles.

Winterwoods, founded in early 2014, also has other 19 blends.

Proprietor Tirza Wibel set her latest Kickstarter goal at $2,000, but is hoping to raise around $20,000 in all. So far, she’s raised more than $8,300 in this campaign. The funds will allow her to attend gift trade shows in 2019 as well as create a new website.

Her first two Kickstarters – in 2015 and 2016 – raised $25,153 and $30,294 respectively. This campaign runs from Dec. 16 to Dec. 31.
