Key moment

Gonzaga led 26-24 barely past the midpoint of the first half when Rui Hachimura and Zach Norvell Jr. triggered a 33-12 run over the next 6-plus minutes. Hachimura had 15 points and Norvell added two 3-pointers and eight points during the spurt.

Offensive MVP

Hachimura was unstoppable. The junior forward scored 33 points in 24 minutes before sitting out most of the second half. He finished 13 of 18 from the field and 7 of 9 at the foul line. He also had a pair of assists.

Defensive MVP

Norvell Jr. had a big night with 23 points, but he was equally effective at the other end of the court. The 6-foot-5 sophomore guard was solid on his assignments and came up with a pair of steals while defending several Bengals wings.
