Vote Tom Konis

Tom Konis has been an employee of the Assessor’s Office for over 20 yeas, doing appraisal of residential, commercial and industrial properties. He knows Spokane County from the ground up.

Tom has seen the difficulties the office faced adjusting to loss of key personnel due to budgetary concerns. With the changing configuration in the workforce, Tom is committed to exploring new technology that will enhance the Assessor’s Office’s operations, ensuring taxpayers are and well served in a more automated era.

Tom is familiar with all departments of the office, including appraisal, senior exemptions, open space land classifications, mapping and segregation of properties. He’s also familiar with the Washington state RCWs which govern the office.

Every employee in the office has given him their endorsement. That certainly says something about how he’s viewed by those who work alongside him.

His talents lie beyond just the office. He has sung the national anthem at a Seahawks game, and is an admired college and high school volleyball official.

If there ever was a candidate more qualified for the position he’s running for than Tom Konis, I’ve yet to meet him. I urge you to vote Tom Konis for Spokane County Assessor.
