Idaho Gives is May 3

Having worked for nonprofits for much of my life, I have always had the utmost respect for those who give their time and those who give financially to nonprofits they support. That is why on May 3, I get my chance to participate and support a local nonprofit of my choice during Idaho Gives – the largest day of 24-hour online giving in the state of Idaho.

Idaho Gives is the perfect opportunity to learn about charities in our community and recognize the important work they do by making a donation.

Last year Kootenai County nonprofit organizations raised $30,714 through Idaho Gives, but I know we can see an even bigger number this year. The overall statewide goal is to raise $1.5 million for Idaho nonprofits, and as you can see from last year, the work we do right here in our own community is a big part of that.

Let’s show the rest of the state how supportive, involved and passionate we are about Kootenai County causes. Donate to a cause you care about on May 3 at IdahoGives.org.
