Key moment

Gonzaga rattled off 11 unanswered points when it needed it most. The spurt erased Ohio State’s 67-62 lead with 6 minutes left. Zach Norvell Jr.’s corner 3-pointer started the run and Killian Tillie’s three-point play gave GU the lead. Rui Hachimura’s 3-pointer pushed the Zags’ lead to 73-67.

Offensive player of the game

Zach Norvell Jr. torched the Buckeyes with six 3-pointers and a career-high 28 points. He hit a pair of 3s to help GU sprint out to a 15-0 lead. He was big late with two treys as the Zags rallied to take the lead.

Defensive player of the game

Rui Hachimura rejected four shots, including a swat on Keita Bates-Diop with 2 minutes remaining that brought Zag fans to their feet. Hachimura also collected five rebounds to help the Zags win the boards 39-25.
