Spokane man killed in motorcycle accident

A Spokane resident was killed in a motorcycle versus car accident on on Pleasant View Road near Hauser, Idaho on Thursday.

Chad M. Bangs, 44, was traveling Eastbound on a motorcycle when the driver of a Kia Forte turned onto Pleasant View Road and collided with him. Bangs, who was not wearing a safety helmet, died at the scene, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

The driver of the Kia Forte, a minor, was wearing a seat belt. The investigation is ongoing, according to the release.
