Careful with high-rises

How many high-rise buildings does downtown need? If all the buildings currently under consideration are built, that likely will saturate the market for many years.

It is important, therefore, to consider very carefully the locations of these buildings. There are plenty of underutilized properties downtown where high-rise construction would enhance Spokane. On the other hand, high-rise buildings across the street from Riverfront Park would be a permanent degradation.
