Vien Dong has reopened on East Trent Avenue.

The popular Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant had long been located on East Sprague Avenue.

It closed in April to prepare for the move to the corner of East Trent Avenue and North Freya Street. The building once housed the old Crossroads Restaurant.

Vien Dong is known for its Vietnamese pho soup and banh mi sandwiches as well as array of stir-fry dishes and spring rolls.

It reopened Friday at 3435 E. Trent Ave.

The new location is lighter and brighter than the previous spot, offering lots of natural light from walls of windows in the open dining room.
