Offensive player of the game

Senior forward Johnathan Williams dominated on the interior. He had seven dunks, a handful of close-range finishes and scored 30 points. It was the second highest scoring game of Williams’ career, trailing only his 39-point outburst against Florida. Williams made 13 of 18 shots and also grabbed 10 boards.

Defensive player of the game

Silas Melson, a frequent selection in this space, bottled up talented LMU point guard James Batemon, who was limited to 13 points, nearly five below his average. Batemon made just 4 of 13 shots, but did contribute eight assists.
