Spokane launches new app ‘Spokane County on the Go’

Spokane County has a new app for those seeking county resources and up-to-date information on their smartphones, tablets and other devices.

The county said in a news release Thursday that the app, called “Spokane County On the Go,” is available on both Apple and Android phones.

Users can renew pet licenses, reserve sites at county campgrounds, book tee times at county golf courses, view agendas for public meetings and search for county job openings, the release said.

Android users can find the app by searching for “Spokane County” in the Google Play store, while iPhone users should search for “CivicMobile” in iTunes, the release said.

In the CivicMobile app, iPhone users can search for “Spokane County” or use the “find my location” feature. Once selected, Spokane County will be the app’s default location.
