How about those Cranes?

As we are extremely proud of our Edmonton Oilers National Hockey League club up here, we wish to extend to you and all Washingtonians, especially Seattle residents, a huge congrats on becoming the thirty-second NHL franchise. We would like to suggest that the team name be the “Seattle Cranes” after the great radio psychiatrist Brothers Crane (Frasier and Niles) from the hit NBC TV series “Frasier,” which ran for eleven years.

Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, and the rest of the co-stars and crew to this day talk of their great respect for the Emerald City and its very fine citizenry. They loved shooting exteriors there & visiting with residents since the show was set at the fictional “KACL 780 AM” radio station in Seattle. So we think this is a great suggestion for a name as you are showing respect back.
