Boys basketball: Jerry Twenge scores 22 points, Mt. Spokane defeats Bellarmine Prep

Jerry Twenge scored 22 points on nine field goals and Mt. Spokane (8-1) beat visiting Bellarmine Prep (1-7) 74-45 on Saturday in a nonleague game.

Tommy Hanly led the Lions with 12 points on four 3-pointers.

JT Smith added 20 points for the Wildcats and Tyson Degenhart had 13. Mt. Spokane were 13 for 14 from the free throw line.

Ferris 59, Davis 54: The visiting Saxons (8-2) defeated the Pirates (1-6).

Asotin 57, Wahkiakum 37: Eli Engledow scored 19 points and the visiting Panthers (5-4) beat the Mules (3-9).

Oroville 65, Kettle Falls 55: Spencer Martin scored 26 points to lead the visiting Hornets (5-3) over the the Bulldogs (5-4).

Garfield-Palouse 68, Colton 42: Ely Hawkins scored 16 points to lead the visiting Vikings (6-5) over the Wildcats (5-4). Caden Sanderon added 12 points for Garfield-Palouse. Parker Druffel led Colton with 17 points.

Post Falls 49, Auburn 43: Alex Horning scored 17 points and added 11 rebounds to lead visiting Post Falls (5-4) over the Auburn (8-2).

Gavven Desjarlais added eight points and 12 rebounds for Post Falls.
