Self-esteem surgery
Written in response to: “Judge orders Idaho to give transgender inmate gender surgery,” Dec. 15:
Medical needs? This judge’s ruling is the most outrageous ruling I’ve ever heard. Since when is gender surgery a medical issue? I’m sure a health insurance company would disagree.
I’ve been wanting to get eye surgery for several years now but am unable to afford it and it’s considered a cosmetic procedure. I’m considering committing a minor crime so I can be put in jail. These bags under my eyes make me look old and unattractive, which affects my self-esteem, so this procedure would greatly improve my well-being.
Would the taxpayers mind footing the bill? Give me a break.
