The Tigers made just four of their first 14 shots. CV opened a double-digit lead early in the second and went into the break with a 33-18 advantage. The Bears shot 65 percent (13 of 20), hitting all of their five 3-point shots, in the first half.

LC outscored the Bears – who went 1 of 9 in the frame – 16-2 in the third quarter. Clay’s pull-up jumper about a minute into the fourth snapped a nearly-eight minute scoreless stretch by CV.
