Police search for stabbing suspect near Costco in Spokane Valley
A man was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Monday evening after being stabbed by someone he knew near the Costco in Spokane Valley.
The stabbing happened under the drive-through cover of the Intermountain Community Bank near Costco. Deputies said both were believed to be transients.
The suspect fled to the southwest and Spokane Valley Sheriff’s deputies were searching for him with a K9 for hours.
Police identified a suspect as Terry L. Rance, 62, who is a white male, about 5’ 10”, weighing 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and gray hair and a gray beard, according to a news release from Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Rance could be driving a red and white 1978 American Clipper 21-foot motorhome with Washington license plates AEY8117.
Sheriff’s Deputies are asking anyone with information on Rance’s whereabouts to call 911.
