Girls basketball: Ashlyn Wallace’s 25 points helps Clarkston knock off Shadle Park

Ashlyn Wallace scored 25 points and Clarkston (2-0) cruised past visiting Shadle Park (1-3) 71-32 in a nonleaguer on Thursday. Katelyn Pomerinke led Shadle with 11 points. Both teams made six 3-pointers; Wallace and Pomerinke led their teams with three each.

Genesis Prep 56, Rogers 21: Bella Murekatete scored 21 points and the visiting Jaguars (3-0) defeated the Pirates (0-4). Savanna Wickering led Rogers with nine points. Genesis Prep only made two 3-pointers, did most of its damage inside. The Jaguars finished 12 of 17 from the line while Rogers was 4 of 5.

West Valley 60, Lakeside 39: Hailie Marlow scored 25 points and West Valley (2-1) defeated visiting Lakeside (0-2). Kendra Gay led Lakeside with 19 points.

St. George’s 45, Medical Lake 30: Lydia Berquist scored 18 points and the Dragons (2-2) beat the visiting Cardinals (3-1). Jessie Lohman led Medical Lake with six points.

Springdale 38, Tekoa-Rosalia 30: Tamieka Valentine scored 12 points and the visiting Chargers (2-4) defeated the Timberwolves (0-4).

Timberlake 49, Lewiston 45: Taryn Soumas had 16 points and the visiting Tigers (7-0) beat the Bengals (2-4). Caitlyn Richards had 16 points for Lewiston.

Bonners Ferry 47, Kettle Falls 33: Baylee Blackmore scored 11 points and the Badgers (4-0) defeated the visiting Bulldogs (2-3). Mya Edwards led Kettle Falls with 18 points.
