Spokane ranked among ‘underrated cities’ for craft beer
Spokane’s brew pubs have landed the city on liveability.com’s list of “Underrated Cities for Craft Beer Lovers.”
“Not only are there dozens of breweries in the area, but it’s home to Steel Barrel, the state’s only incubator brewery,” the online article said.
River City Brewing’s First Friday event got a mention in the article and so did the family-owned Whistle Punk Brewing. The Inland NW Craft Beer Festival, Spokane BrewFest and FrostFest also were highlighted in the article, along with the Ale Trail.
Spokane landed in the No. 4 spot out of six cities highlighted by liveability.com. The others in the ranking were: Reno, Nevada,; Bowling Green, Kentucky; Pawtucket, Rhode Island; Minneapolis; and Lincoln, Nebraska.
