Comcast upgrades Deer Park network, adds services for local customers
Comcast has invested nearly $2 million to upgrade its network in Deer Park since it acquired the Northstar Broadband Cable TV system earlier this year, officials said Monday.
The improvements included new fiber optic network and cable infrastructure that expands services available to Deer Park residents and commercial customers, according to the company.
“Comcast is excited to be the new media and technology provider in Deer Park. We have worked diligently to upgrade our network so that we can offer all of our products and services across the area,” said Amy Lynch, region vice president for Comcast Washington.
Lynch said local residents and companies can have access to faster internet speeds – up to 1 gigabit – along with voice remote, video on demand, DVR storage, residential phone service and home security products.
