Gonzaga has been active in the transfer market and that continued Thursday when two transfers said they’ve been contacted by the Zags.

Former Washington State Cougar guard Malachi Flynn told CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein he’s receiving interest from Gonzaga, Baylor, Boise State, Creighton, Nevada, San Diego State, St. John’s and Texas A&M.

McNeese State transfer Kalob Ledoux is hearing from Gonzaga, UConn, Northwestern and San Diego, according to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

Flynn started 60 games in his two seasons at WSU. He averaged 9.7 points and 2.9 assists as a freshman. He bumped his scoring average to 15.8 and his assists to 4.3 last season. He’s a career 35.8-percent shooter beyond the 3-point arc and he’s made 81.6 percent of his free throws.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Flynn, a product of Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma, has two years of eligibility but would be required to sit out next season under NCAA transfer rules. Flynn is expected to visit Creighton next week.

Gonzaga appears set at point guard next season with starter Josh Perkins indicating he plans to return for his senior year.

Ledoux, a 6-3, 215-pound guard, averaged 11.9 points in 2017 to became the first freshman to lead McNeese State in scoring since Joe Dumars. The Port Barre, Louisiana, native led the Cowboys again last season at 15.0 points. He made 37.4 percent of his 3-point attempts and grabbed 4.3 rebounds per game.

Ledoux made seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 34 points against Northwestern State in February.

Ledoux would have two seasons of eligibility left after sitting out next season under transfer rules.

Ledoux’s twin brother, Jacob, who averaged 8.2 points last season for McNeese State, is also transferring.
