Washington State’s Luke Falk, now with 103 TD passes, continues to ascend all-time lists
PULLMAN – When Luke Falk connected with Tavares Martin Jr. on a 40-yard touchdown early in the second quarter of Washington State’s 45-7 victory over visiting Nevada on Saturday, it marked Falk’s 100th career touchdown pass, passing Southern Cal’s 2004 Heisman winner Matt Leinart on the Pac-12 career list.
On Saturday, Falk completed 36 of his 47 passes for 478 yards and five touchdowns without an interception, bringing his career passing total to 12,266 yards, passing former Cal star Jared Goff (12,200) for third on the all-time Pac-12 list. Falk’s fifth touchdown against Nevada brought his total to 103.
“I was just doing my job, putting the ball in play and putting it in playmakers’ hands,” Falk said. “That’s what makes this offense so good, getting to the right guys at the right time.”
