Former Gonzaga Bulldogs forward Kyle Wiltjer was waived Saturday by the Toronto Raptors.

Wiltjer, signed by the Raptors in mid-August, played in three preseason games. His best performance came Thursday in his hometown of Portland when he made four 3-pointers and scored 12 points in 12 minutes in a 106-101 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Wiltjer played 20 minutes in three appearances.

The 6-foot-10 forward played in 14 games last year as a rookie with the Houston Rockets. He spent the rest of the season with the franchise’s D-League team.

Wiltjer was one of seven Rockets traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Chris Paul in June. Wiltjer saw limited time with the Clippers’ summer-league team and was waived in mid-July.
