Beverly’s at Coeur d’Alene Resort is one of the ‘60 Iconic U.S. Restaurants to Try Before You Die’

Beverly’s at Coeur d’Alene Resort has been named one of the “60 Iconic U.S. Restaurants to Try Before You Die.”

Cheapism.com included the fine-dining resort restaurant in its recently published bucket list – along with Spago in Beverly Hills, Katz’s Delicatessen in New York City and Cafe du Monde and Commander’s Palace in New Orleans.

Voodoo Doughnut in Portland and Maneki in Seattle also made the list.

Beverly’s, located on the seventh floor of the resort’s Lake Tower, was noted for its sweeping views of Lake Coeur d’Alene,” which the website notes “are more than worth the trip.”

But Cheapism.com also notes, “this restaurant isn’t coasting on location.”

It is, the site says, “one of the Distinguished Restaurants of North America’s top spots in the U.S.”

Cheapism recommends starting with the carpaccio.

And don’t forget a bottle of wine. “The wine menu might be the bigger star – the restaurant boasts more than 14,000 bottles,” the website says.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort is at 115 S. Second St. in Coeur d’Alene. Call (208) 765-2300.
