Body found in Boise canal

BOISE – Boise police are investigating after discovering a man’s body in a canal over the weekend.

Boise Police spokeswoman Haley Williams says that the dead man was spotted in a Boise canal Sunday. The body had no obvious signs of trauma.

The Ada County Coroner’s office said Monday that officials are working to identify the cause of death, but no foul play is suspected. The coroner’s office is also withholding releasing the man’s name pending notification of the family.
