The Seattle Sounders were drawn to face the San Jose Earthquakes in the round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup on Thursday.

Seattle will travel to San Jose for the June 28 match.

The 16 teams remaining in the competition were separated into four regions – West, Central, South and East – for the draw. The winner of the Seattle-San Jose match will host the winner of the other West semifinal, Sacramento Republic at LA Galaxy.

The Sounders and Earthquakes have meet once this season, a 1-1 draw after Chris Wondolowski rescued San Jose with a goal in the 90th minute.

Seattle advanced to the fifth round of the Open Cup with a 2-1 win over the visiting Portland Timbers on Tuesday. The Sounders have won four U.S. Open Cup championships, claiming three in a row from 2009-2011. They also won in 2014.
