Seattle chef Shota Nakajima, who appeared on the recent Food Network series “Iron Chef Gauntlet,” will be preparing a Japanese dinner June 22 in downtown Spokane.
The special event is a collaboration with Spokane chef and restaurateur Jeremy Hansen and takes place at Hansen’s latest establishment, Inland Pacific Kitchen at 304 W. Pacific Ave.
Doors open at 6 p.m, and dinner starts a half-hour later.
Dinner is seven courses and $120 per person. Add an alcohol pairing for $45 per person. Or, opt for a juice pairing for $30 per person.
Nakajima is the chef-owner of Adana on Capitol Hill, where he specializes in Japanese cuisine and a rotating three-course menu as well as Japanese-inspired cocktails and small bites.
“He is the hottest chef in Seattle right now,” Hansen said. “He’s a good friend and good chef.”
