GOP must do better

I may not have agreed with every single aspect of the ACA, otherwise known as Obamacare, but the fact of the matter is, more than 20 million people had access to health insurance that didn’t have it before. This is a good thing. You don’t do away with the entire program with absolutely no credible action plan to replace it. You don’t decide to take away health insurance from millions of people who really need it and then claim to be pro-life.

This isn’t helping to support anyone’s quality of life. Losing access to care is literally life and death for many people, and will cost taxpayers more when others have to go to emergency rooms for basic care and not be able to pay their bills.

You should work to improve the parts of the program you think could be better, not toss the whole thing out and make millions suffer because of your lack of common sense and compassion. Easy for you to make these decisions for us when your life isn’t on the line and you get guaranteed health coverage. GOP, you can and should do better.
