Lindsay Brown 3-pointers help Idaho State women down Idaho

Saylair Grandon scored 24 points, Lindsay Brown added 15 and visiting Idaho State (9-7, 3-2) used a 20-8 fourth-quarter run to beat Idaho (7-9, 2-3) 67-60 in Moscow in a Big Sky matchup on Saturday.

Idaho led 54-47 after three quarters. ISU’s Brown started an 8-0 spurt with a 3-pointer to bring things even, and another with 2:29 left gave Idaho State the lead for good.

The Vandals missed their last 12 shots of the game from the field.

Idaho State dominated the inside, outscoring Idaho 32-10 in the paint with a 43-34 rebound advantage.

Geraldine McCorkell led Idaho with 23 points and Mikayla Ferenz added 22. The rest of the team combined for 15.

The Vandals shot 26 percent after halftime, including 2 of 14 from beyond the arc.

Idaho travels to face Southern Utah on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
