Southwest offers Spokane-San Diego service for summer months

Southwest Airlines is offering daily nonstop service between Spokane and San Diego from June 4 through Aug. 14.

Spokane International Airport on Thursday announced the service for the summer travel season. The airline plans to use 737-700 aircraft.

The flights will offer connections to 12 cities across the U.S.

The schedule has planes leaving Spokane at 9:55 a.m. and arriving in San Diego at 12:30 p.m.

From San Diego, the flight will leave at 11:25 a.m. and arrive in Spokane at 2:05 p.m.

Marketing research shows that more than 90,000 people travel annually each way between Spokane and San Diego, according to a news release from the airport.
