John and Nancy Horstketter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Dec. 26, with a gathering with family and friends on Jan. 14 at CenterPlace in Spokane Valley.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Sherry Horstketter, of Spokane; Hans and Carrie Horstketter, of Valleyford; and Brian and Christine Horstketter, of Spokane Valley.

The couple were married Dec. 26, 1966, in Marquette, Michigan. They have two grandchildren.
