Gonzaga men own 10-1 all-time record against Saturday’s opponent, Pacific

The Gonzaga Bulldogs complete their two-game homestand with a matchup against the Pacific Tigers on Saturday.
This will be the 12th meeting against the Tigers, and Gonzaga has won all but one of these games. This includes eight straight Gonzaga wins against the Tigers, and Gonzaga also has not lost to them in Spokane.
Pacific’s lone victory came in 1976, when they defeated the Zags 70-60.
Under head coach Mark Few, Gonzaga has never lost to Pacific.
On New Year’s Eve this season, the Zags used a 25-4 second-half run to defeat Pacific 81-61 in Stockton, California. Przemek Karnowski scored 19 points in Gonzaga’s second-half run, and Jordan Mathews added another 16 points to help the Zags come out with the win.
Last season in Spokane, Gonzaga won 90-68, behind 19 second-half points from Kyle Wiltjer. He finished with 26 points and Domantas Sabonis added 23 points and 10 rebounds.
The Zags also won the first meeting between the programs, 85-83 on Feb. 5, 1959.
