Former Gonzaga Bulldog Kyle Dranginis is having a strong first season with SISU Copenhagen, a professional team in Denmark.

Dranginis was named January player of the month in Denmark’s top professional league by Danish basketball website Fullcourt.dk. He averaged 22.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5 assists to help SISU to a 3-2 record in January.

Dranginis posted his second triple-double of the season (25 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists) in a 108-100 victory over Bakken.

“I think Denmark has been an awesome spot to play during my first year as a professional,” Dranginis told Fullcourt.dk. “I’ve been able to develop my game while getting the chance to play against some good competition.”

Dranginis averages 16 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists for SISU (7-13). He’s shooting 51 percent from the field, 41 percent on 3-pointers. He leads the team with 50 3-pointers.

Dranginis, a product of Skyview High in Nampa, Idaho, averaged 4.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 143 career games at Gonzaga from 2012-16.
