Definition of pedophilia

In the letters to the editor, both Jim Wavada (Dec. 2) and Phillip Martin (Dec. 6) have professed that Judge Roy Moore is an accused pedophile. That is not the case. Judge Roy Moore is accused of inappropriate conduct with teenage young women. The definition of pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. Look it up. Ignorant accusations do no one any justice.

Due process will serve proper justice in all these situations now before us. I have no idea whether Judge Moore is guilty or not, but I urge everyone to keep in mind that in this country you are innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.
