The Clinkerdagger restaurant doesn’t have its stolen paintings back, but it is closer to identifying the culprits.

Earlier this month, the pieces of art – including a painting of Queen Victoria – were stolen from the diner’s walls during business hours by two people. The heist was caught on surveillance cameras.

The diner, located at the Flour Mill released surveillance video footage Thursday showing a young man and a young woman stealing a painting and running from restaurant employees.

The paintings had been on the restaurant’s walls since 1974, according to Clinkerdagger manager Debi Moon.

Clinkerdagger is requesting the public’s assistance. If anyone has information about the heist, Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
