Boys basketball roundup: Shamrock Campbell and Ferris keep rolling with win over Central Valley
Shamrock Campbell scored 24 points and the Saxons (6-1, 3-1) defeated the Bears (2-4, 2-2) 61-55 in a Greater Spokane League game on Tuesday.
Grant Hannan led the Bears with 19 points.
Rogers 62, University 61: Max Babich drained two free throws with 2.3 seconds left and the visiting Pirates (4-4, 1-2) eked out a win over the Titans (1-4, 0-4). The Titans’ Cam Cavanaugh’s shot from near midcourt bounced off the back rim as time expired. Evan Nomee led the Pirates with 17 points. Tanner Christensen scored a game-high 23 points for the Titans.
Mt. Spokane 90, Lewis and Clark 79: JT Smith scored 26 points and the visiting Wildcats (5-1, 3-1) defeated the Tigers (5-3, 3-1). Griffin Effenberger scored a game-high 28 points for Lewis and Clark.
Mead 50, North Central 42: Tyson Rogalette scored 16 points and the Panthers (2-5, 1-3) defeated the visiting Indians (2-3, 1-2). Leon Sayers led the Indians with 15 points. The Panthers hit 7 of 8 free throws in the final two minutes of the game.

Colfax 57, Davenport 54: Carson Cloaninger scored 23 points on 8 of 10 shooting and the visiting Bulldogs (6-2, 6-0) beat the Gorillas (3-4, 3-3). Peyton Buchanan led the Gorillas with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Northeast 1B
Columbia 60, Curlew 20: Corbin Nelson scored 21 and the Lions (4-4, 2-3) beat the visiting Cougars (1-7, 1-5). Riley McLain pitched in 17 for the Lions and Justin Hanks paced the Cougars with six points.
Nonleague
Freeman 83, West Valley 46: Michael Coumont scored 19 points and the visiting Scotties (6-0, 2-0) beat the Eagles (5-3, 2-1). Quin Hopkins added 16 points for the Scotties. Collin Sather led the Eagles with 18.
Coeur d’Alene 60, Northwest Christian 39: Sam Matheson scored 13 points and the visiting Vikings (2-2) defeated the Crusaders (3-4) 60-39 in a nonleague game on Tuesday. Eckelo Simpson led the Crusaders with 13 points.
Odessa 69, Wilbur-Creston 39: Ryan Moffet scored a game-high 29 points and the visiting Tigers (7-0) defeated the Wildcats (1-6). Layne Smith had 17 points for the Wildcats.
Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 53, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 33: Bryce Kelly scored 15 points and the Broncos (4-3) beat the visiting Eagles (0-5). Kelly was 5 of 5 from the free-throw line and Camden Smith scored 14. Ty Harder led the Eagles with 14 points including three 3-pointers.
