Gonzaga shook up its starting lineup for Monday’s game against visiting IUPUI.

The Zags inserted redshirt freshman center Jacob Larsen and sophomore forward Rui Hachimura into the starting five, replacing sophomore Killian Tillie and senior Johnathan Williams.

It’s the first start for Hachimura after coming off the bench in 39 career games. It’s also the first start for Larsen. Williams had started all 50 games in his Gonzaga career.

Head coach Mark Few wasn’t pleased with his starting bigs in Gonzaga’s 89-83 overtime win against North Dakota on Saturday. Williams and Tillie combined for nine turnovers and were 9 of 21 from the field.

“We were throwing the ball to them and they weren’t delivering and they weren’t getting good shots and they were fumbling and bumbling the ball,” Few said of the bigs following the UND game. “You can’t do that when you get that much usage and that many touches. There’s a responsibility that comes with that.”
