Boys basketball roundup: Maks Babich leads Rogers over Lake City

Maks Babich poured in 25 points and Rogers edged visiting Lake City 69-67 in a nonleague tilt on Thursday.

Evan Nomee chipped in 14 points, including three 3-pointers and six rebounds, for the Pirates (2-2).

Hunter Schaffer paced the Timberwolves (1-2) with 16 points. Jack Kiesbuy netted 15 on five triples and James Carlson totaled 11 points.
