Gonzaga wilted against Texas’ full-court pressure at the PK80 in Portland, but it showed improvement when Creighton turned up the heat late.
The Bluejays pressed after cutting GU’s lead to 81-71 with 4:30 remaining. The Zags quickly worked the ball down court to Zach Norvell Jr., who drove to the rim for a right-handed finish and an and-one.
“After last weekend, obviously we worked a lot on it,” sophomore forward Killian Tillie said. “So yeah, now we’re ready.”
