Woman arrested after neighbor stabbed in the face on Spokane’s South Hill
A woman was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly stabbing her neighbor in the face on Spokane’s South Hill.
Police were called to an apartment complex near South Regal Street and East 53rd Avenue at about 7:48 p.m. on a report of a male wandering around the courtyard saying he’d been stabbed, said Spokane Police Department spokesman Officer Stacy Flynn.
After rendering aid to the man, police learned the stabbing suspect was a female neighbor, who was quickly apprehended and taken into custody after she fled the scene, Flynn said.
The man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The identity of the stabbing suspect, who could face charges of first-degree assault, has not been released.
