This spring’s wet weather will continue for the next several days with only a two-day break.

Up to a quarter-inch of rain is expected today in Spokane, according to the National Weather Service.

But the rain will stop Friday and most of Saturday. A chance of rain is in the forecast again starting Saturday evening.

Nearly 1.4 inches of rain have fallen on Spokane so far in April. That’s above average, but nowhere near the April record of 3.97 inches, which was set in 1893. Almost 12 inches of precipitation has fallen on Spokane since the start of the year. That’s twice as much as usually has fallen by now.
