Unreasonable search

For a big bag of money, Congress and our own Cathy McMorris Rodgers have sold out our Bill of Rights again. This time to Comcast. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable search and seizures shall not be violated, unless the thief is a multinational corporation and they are liberal with their bribes.

My computer, my router and my internet account are part of my papers and effects. How dare CMR sell my rights to privacy, to security. What a lame excuse offered. It’s not fair because Facebook and Twitter have been allowed to market user privacy. Why is this?

Millions of us refuse to go on social media for this reason. It’s our choice. This is not an issue of homeland security where we have traded privacy for safety concerns such as at the airport. This is the marriage of bad government and business. This is what fascism looks like. Business writes the law. Meanwhile our corrupted president gets a free pass on his tax returns to shield his malfeasance.

Our congresswoman should never lecture us again or criticize anyone else about respect for the Constitution. Know thyself.
