“Zootopia” (2016), Disney’s animated comedy about a bunny cop (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and a conniving fox partner (Jason Bateman), is one of the biggest hits of 2016 (PG).

The documentary “Audrie & Daisy” (2016) investigates high school sexual assault and cyberbullying (not rated).

Netflix originals: the anthology comedy series “Easy” debuts, and “Longmire” returns for season 5.

More streaming TV: “Penny Dreadful: Season 3” brings the Showtime horror series to a close, “Gotham: Season 2” and “New Girl: Season 5” arrive as new seasons begin on TV, and “Luther: Season 4,” “Wallander: Series 4” and “Call the Midwife: Series 5” arrive from Britain.

“The Witch” (2015), a “New England Folktale” of Puritans in 17th-century America, is a primal, unnerving horror film (R).

Days after winning two Emmy Awards, the third season of the Amazon original series “Transparent” debuts.

Also new: “Knight of Cups” (2016) with Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett (R) and the modern Irish fairy tale “Ondine” (2009, PG-13).

The Oscar-nominated “Sicario” (2015) tosses Emily Blunt into the drug war on the Mexican border with Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin (R).

Director Alejandro González Iñárritu and star Leonardo DiCaprio both won the Oscars for “The Revenant” (2015), a brutal tale of survival and revenge on the American frontier (R).
