10 Under $10: Fun stuff that won’t break the bank

1. Arbor Crest’s Concerts on the Cliff 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, 4705 N. Fruit Hill Road. Final Sunday concert of the season features top 40 hits played by Common Ground, a Spokane/Coeur d’Alene-based foursome. (509) 927-9463. Admission: $8.

2. WSU Alumna Concert 4:10 p.m. Friday, Washington State University, Bryan Hall Theatre, Wilson at Library Road, Pullman. Alumna and soprano Karina Brazas will present a concert reflecting the world at the beginning and end of World War I. Most of the music was written 1910-20. 4. Fall Festival of Homes 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday through Sunday and Sept. 30-Oct. 2. The Spokane Home Builders Association presents 32 newly constructed homes throughout Spokane County and one in Pend Oreille County. Works from 20 of Spokane’s finest builders. Show magazines and maps will be available at Eagle Ridge in south Spokane and River District in Liberty Lake. 6. Such Gold 7:30 p.m. Monday, the Pin, 412 W. Sprague Ave. Punk and melodic hardcore from this foursome based in Rochester, New York. 8. Pajama Story Time with Local Authors 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Spark Central, 1214 W. Summit Parkway. Scablands Lit gathers several local writers for a special evening story time for children ages 2-5. 9. “Untitled Insights” Mondays-Fridays, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., through Oct. 21, Spokane Falls Community College Fine Arts Gallery, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive. New exhibit features cut paper by Ann Reid and lithographs by Kevin Haas.
