Huskies No. 9 in Amway Coaches Poll
Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Browning tied a school record with five touchdown passes Saturday against Idaho, and the Huskies blasted the Vandals 59-14 to boost UW to No. 9 in USA Today’s Amway Coaches Poll this week.
The Huskies, ranked eighth in last week’s Associated Press poll, moved up two spots in the Amway rankings, which once again has Alabama at No. 1. Florida State, ranked second, bumped Clemson down a spot after the Tigers struggled against Troy on Saturday.
The 2-0 Huskies are joined in the Amway top 10 by fellow Pac-12 school Stanford, which is 1-0 and ranked sixth. Oregon, the only other Pac-12 team in the Amway top 25, moved up two spots to 21st after moving its record to 2-0.
