PULLMAN – Washington State enters Week 10 of the college football season ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 poll at No. 25, the first time the Cougars have been ranked all year.

WSU (6-2, 5-0 Pac-12) has won its last six games, including Saturday’s 18-point comeback win at Oregon State.

The Washington Huskies remain at No. 4 after its win over Utah on Saturday.

WSU was last ranked in 2015. The Cougars entered the rankings in Week 11 following a road win at No. 18 UCLA, and stayed in the Top 25 for two weeks.

WSU is also ranked No. 25 in the coaches poll.

The Cougars have beaten one ranked team this year, the 42-16 pasting of then-No. 15 Stanford in California. However, the 4-3 Cardinal have not been ranked since that game. The only team WSU has played that is currently ranked is No. 24 Boise State, which lost its first game on Saturday night against Wyoming.

The only remaining ranked opponents for WSU are No. 21 Colorado, which WSU faces in Boulder in three weeks, and No. 4 Washington, which WSU hosts in the Apple Cup on Nov. 25

The Cougars and Huskies had not both been ranked at the same time since Sept. 28, 2003.
