State a better steward

In this political season so filled with deliberate lies and misleading information, the recent ad presented by Cathy McMorris Rodgers to encourage more local control of local land will certainly draw out the fear mongers and haters.

Look up the Montana Environment and Property Research Center at perc.org. Especially articles by Holly Fretwell and in particular her “Divided Lands.” You will learn that state management of timber resources and recreation areas is three to nine times more efficient, and profitable, than management by the USFS and the BLM.

Reps. McMorris Rodgers and Raul Labrador understand the facts and are trying to change the waste and mismanagement of a federal government that has become too big and intrusive. Make up your own mind about who to trust.
