2 killed when beam falls at NYC construction site

NEW YORK – A beam has fallen on a crane operator’s cab in New York City and fire officials say two people were killed.

WABC says the beam fell at a construction site in Queens.

The accident occurred just after noon Tuesday near the intersection of 82nd Avenue and 134th Street.
