Legion of Youth inspiring

I want to thank you for the small article in the Oct. 6 edition on the Boeing selection of the West Valley High School students for the Legion of Youth program. Although quite small, these types of articles are important to highlight the positive achievements of youth in our community.

I wish you would report more on similar positive achievements of our youth, in an effort to help create positive role models and examples for our community youth. We see so many negative reporting on youth crime, I would hope we could find equal positive reports of youth achievements, although I realize those may require more effort in obtaining.
