Need Snake River dams

Thank you to The Spokesman-Review for printing all the information about the contribution of the Snake River dams to Washington State.

More people are moving to Washington and will need more electricity; breaching dams that generate that needed power is irresponsible, unless we come up with nuclear power generating plants. Irrigating central Washington farms lands is also crucial for food production that the increasing population will need. Barging the Palouse produce makes considerably more sense than trucking it all to market.

So, it would be okay to just farm the salmon (for human and whale food), save the dams, generate the electricity that even fishermen need to charge their electronics, and continue to use barges on the Snake River.
